Well all the whacky holidays and messed up weeks are over, now we can go back to getting drunk in the sun just for the hell of it. My new years was good, a small house party with a kick ass 3 metre diameter kiddie pool, just over half a metre deep. On a 40 degree day you can’t ask for anything better, I’m just surprised the pool lasted the entire night without someone falling on the pool and water flooding the entire backyard. One downer on the night though was my stupid self getting into the pool while still having my mobile phone in my pocket. It wouldn’t have been submerged for more than 10 seconds but it’s dead, which is particularly annoying, I once put my Nokia through the wash and it still survived. So I dare say that will be the replacement. To tie me over I’ll have to buy a $50 job somewhere, my crappy phone insurance doesn’t cover water damage, god damnit.

Ahh well back at work soon, I’m still struggling to work out what day it is.
