Well, my car is now nice and fixed up with most of the glass cleaned up and the window replaced, I don’t think I will ever actually find it all. I also bought a new iPod, of which there is a photo in the Moblog. So blow it out your arse iPod stealer, I’ve got a bigger and better iPod than you.

Cought on to this site tonight, man, was a brilliantly ridiculous idea. He’s selling 1 million pixels of advertising space on this website for $1 per pixel. Stupid right? well not when word gets around of the stupid idea and people scramble to buy pixels, some are just people not advertising anything, others are legitimate ads, not surprisingly the biggest ad is a golden palace casino advert, they bloody buy everything, aren’t they the same lot who bought that cheese sandwich with the virgin mary on it?

Just when you thought you could trust humanity…

..some asshole strolling past my car, spots my ipod sitting neatly in it’s dock ( which I don’t usually leave in the car) and decides to smashmy window and take it, along with the charger. What a crap way to wake up, it’s times like these you wish you had a car alarm, and a baseball bat at the ready so you can scare the living bajesus out of the punks who did it. It’s not so much the cost problem, which is pretty shitty, it’s the fact that it’s fucking mine! and these assholes just take it without batting an eyelid. Being under 25 insurance won’t help, my excess is too much to bother claiming it. My only concession is that I have all my music on my PC.

I fucking hope you worthless shits enjoy the music on there, you bastards! I believe Alan Patridge said it best “Scum, Sub-human Scum”

Pricks…..scuse my french but I’m pissed off

Infra-Red Camera
Posted on: September 20th, 2005 at 2:10pm By: Sebconn

Turned on MonitorI was browsing the web today…as you do when you’re on holidays and bored silly, and I came across a page on ehow.com explaining how to turn an ordinarly webcam into an infra-red camera. naturally I thought what a load of bollocks, but I opened my drawer and grabbed out the webcam that I got for free with….something, I can’t really remember what, and proceeded to rip it to bits, following the instuctions on the site. basically you take out a glass filter that is already on the lense, and replace it with 2 little squares of exposed photo film (the black part). Somehow find a way to attach them securely, and put it back together. And low and behold it worked like a charm, couldn’t believe it. Try it yourself The photo above is an ordinary remote control, you can use it as a torch!

Portfolocate 2.0 Finished
Posted on: September 8th, 2005 at 6:33pm By: Sebconn

I finally completed my portfolio script today. I’m sure the odd bug will pop up here and there but I’ll take them as they go. I’ve called it Portfolocate 2. Portfolocate 1 was a small script that scanned each user’s 5mb webspace on our (My Workplace) school’s ISP and displayed a link if an index file was found. Version 2 however is entirely different, a self contained, fully dynamic script with a MySQL backend. The biggest PHP project I’ve worked on. I’ve been developing it for the last 8 weeks or so. But today It’s gone live and I’ve introduced a small handful of students to it.

Some of the features include:

- Dynamic user creation using login scripts.
- Portfolio activation only available when all required fields are entered.
- Utilises the WYSIWYG Spaw editor.
- Dynamic photo gallery and file lister.
- Sorts users by Grade and Class

it’s located at http://intranet.moriacps.vic.edu.au/portfolios. At the moment there’s not too many active portfolios, but that number will grow substantially in the coming weeks.
