In other news I’ve almost finished a web design job I’m working on, which is good, almost finished my work’s new site, which is also good. hmm let’s see what else? Nothing I guess, I might have some more photos of the Melb Cup in the gallery soon. Portsea trip coming soon, yay.

I’ve been working on a new layout for my work’s site this week, I’m getting better and better at nice XHTML & CSS layouts. It’s a rather basic looking layout but very functional. Heres a sneak peak. It I really like this style of layout, putting all the relevent info on the one screen, and it spaces it out very nicely. I so wish I could use full transparent PNGs with this to make it easier for content over the space to the right of the latest gallery picture, I still might but I have to use javascript so that IE can actually do it properly, which I don’t like doing too much. The site adapts to all resolutions very well and the only large image is the background, which is a very low quality jpeg, not weighing in at more than 20k, considering the super small size of the rest of the page, it’s quite good.

On another note, my kneecap popped out of place again this afternoon, the second time that has happened. All I can say is ow, it’s so damn painful, now I have to limp to the fridge to get my beers, damn shame that.

Well I finally got that photo galery up and running again. I’m using Gallery2 now and it’s jam packed full of features and unbelievably easy to configure. So you’ll see on the left there I have a new section showing a random image from my gallery, and you can click on the photos link above to get to the main gallery. Thanks to Brock for supplying the photos for my first gallery, they are pics from the Reel Big Fish and Goldfinger gig I went to the other night, nice one.

Got pointed toward this guy the other day, Matisyahu. a Reggae stylin Beat-Boxin Orthadox Jew, who pumps out some pretty mad reggae. Have a look at a live track (Streaming Video) right here. Really good chillin tunes to do nothing in the sun to. The weird thing was, after being shown this guy, he was played in between sets at Reel Big Fish & Goldfinger last night.

Just got back from a gig where two of my favourite bands were playing, Reel Big Fish and Goldfinger. Goldfinger started off the show and got everyone psyched up super quick, they we fantastic and way on fire. halfway through the gig the drummer (dangerous darren) stage dived into the crowd, got them to carry him to the bar right next to where me and my friends were chillin, and grabbed a drink. They played all their classic oldschool tunes, but nothing from their new album which I thought was quite weird. Was one of the coolest Goldfinger gigs I’ve been two (4th one). Reel Big Fish had to make do without their second vocalist/trumpet/guitar player Scott but still managed to have a great set. Didn’t quite seem the same without him though, usually he and the lead vocalist Aaron talk gibberish between songs and makes the gig a lot more fun. A mate of mine took some ok photos with his phone so I’ll get him to send it on to my moblog in the next day or so.

Awesome stuff………..and still Mad Caddies to come in just under 2 weeks, w00t!
